WA State School Funding

I created this comic in response to a lay off by my local school district because I wanted to understand why they didn't have funding for me the following year and what had changed fiscally. This is several months of research that went into this project.

I was the lowest paid teacher at my school. The superintendent of my school district made 10x my salary and yet I was cut to solve their budget deficit. #arteducationmatters
